Viking Kids Don't Cry

For Didda and her sisters, life in the remote fjords of Iceland in 1935 was one of danger, hard work and joy. Like their Viking ancestors, their life is full of trolls and Hidden People and the daily chores around the farm. Didda loves climbing the cliffs to collect bird's eggs but would rather face a troll than Grandpa's nasty-tempered cow named Old Red. But, when the chores were done, the adventure begins. She and her friends ride Icelandic horses across the fjord, risk the wrath of the trolls attempting to fly from the cowshed room and come face-to-face with a trapped polar bear. The Icelandic frontier real-life hardships she faces teaches her to value every day.

Grandpa always said Viking children never cried; they howled, screamed, bellowed - but did not cry! Didda learns to overcome her fear of a terrible storm at sea that threatens to sink their ship and must come to terms with the loss of a close friend. She comes to understand joy, fear, loss and life while never crying even once.

This enchanting story of a strong-willed young girl viewing life as a great adventure while facing the realities of fear and death was inspired by the author's own childhood experience.

Angry Granny

Hilarious adventures abound as Granny comes to live with her grandson and his parents. It is rarely an easy transition when aging parents and grandparents find they need to live with their children, and Angry Granny is no exception. But, on top of Granny's declining memory, she has lost her filter. So, be prepared because even though her grandson isn't used to hearing curse words Angry Granny is about to change that as she regularly let's the a-word fly. It's cute. It's funny. And, it's touching as the experience of having Angry Granny in the house will take you from laughing to saying "oh my" and right back to giggling again.

Rob Alex and Boegley Alex co-wrote Angry Granny, but it all started when Daddy (Rob) started telling Angry Granny bedtime stories to Boegley. The laughter and giggles that poured forth from the bedroom could be heard all the way downstairs. After a few weeks and a long list of Angry Granny adventures, this father-son duo decided to share their knee slapping and sometimes shocking stories with the world. Get ready because these two will take you on quite a journey alongside Angry Granny, and they just may share more of Granny's adventures as time goes by.

The Holy Grail of Book Publishing (for Kindle)

by Mimi Emmanuel

100+ Five star reviews, nice LARGE size book (9.5 x 11 inches) and LARGE easy to read font, 362 pages.

5.0 out of 5 starsIf you buy just one book on self publishing (and Amazon Bestselling) I recommend you this one.

Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase

I am a book coach, and I have read all that there is on Amazon when it comes to book publishing. This is the only book that gives ALL this detailed information, step by step process, as well as a huge amount of resources that you could never find alone even if you tried for ages - and to be honest - not many other authors accept to share (or they don't know about). In addition to this, the author is very modest, she admits that if she had not all this help from her daughter and her launching team, she would not succeed an Amazon bestseller status. If you bought just one book on book publishing and promoting, I would strongly recommend this one.
