I’ve even began teaching my grandkids ages 3 and 6 years old. You don’t have to be spiritually inclined, or possess any special skill to enjoy it’s benefits. It’s a tool anyone can learn and use. We encourage you to explore and discover all of the various techniques offered. NBM offers easy accessible and dependable meditation classes for all levels that will ground you to the present moment. Improve inner balance and reduce overall stress on your mind and body. These 30 minute classes pull from various traditions and will teach you the “how to” of meditation while incorporating techniques such as postural alignment. Breath work and hand gestures.I will offer history and philosophy and address commonly asked questions to prepare you for your journey. This is a guided class that will leave you coming back for more. If you are looking to start a meditation practice or deepen your current understanding these classes are for you. NBM uses a blend of tools mixed with singing sound bowls, gongs and other sound healing instruments. Sound meditation the vibration helps shift the brain into a more relaxed state. You feel the physical and mental benefits of this meditation immediately. It is approachable for beginners and has remarkable effects on experienced meditators. The use of essential oils and eye pillows can be added for extra relaxation. Our guided mindfulness meditation class is designed for all levels and wonderful for beginners. This class is the perfect foundation to start a practice and will give you the tools and technique to help you live a more mindful life. Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present , be embodied and aware of where we are and what we are doing. And not overly reactive or overwhelmed. It is the true art of paying attention without judgement .
